SHS ProSeminar Series Fall 2020
Each semester the Department of Speech and Hearing Science hosts a Proseminar lecture series featuring faculty, students or invited speakers presenting research or professional development topics. This year, in response to current events, the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is organizing a series of lectures around the topics of social justice, health disparities, and culturally-responsive services in the field of communication sciences and disorders. With this series of lectures, we hope to spark discussion among our students, faculty, and community at large and to inspire solutions at mitigating health disparities and advocating for a better, just world.
