Faculty Development

Throughout the year CHAD provides educational and professional development opportunities and events. This includes the AHS Faculty Academy (in collaboration with the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs), regular seminars on research services, funding opportunities, and challenges facing AHS researchers, and annual symposia on a variety of topics related to AHS research. Grant Review

CHAD offers a grant proposal review service available to all faculty and academic professionals in the College of Applied Health Sciences to improve the quality of their grant submissions. The service is designed to provide investigators critical feedback of their proposals prior to agency submission.  For more information about this service, please contact Dr. Wendy Bartlo at wbartlo@illinois.edu.

Research Space

IHSI Lab space

The James K. and Karen S. McKechnie Laboratory (1006 Khan Annex) is now available to reserve for research purposes.

This 632-square-foot dry-lab space contains a conference table and chair and ample space for research collaborations.

You can reserve this room for working with research participants, research team or meetings, research trainings, or other research related activities

AHS faculty and staff interested in reserving the space should contact Robert Pawlik at rpawlik@illinois.edu.
