AHS media relations specialist Vince Lara recently spoke with Illinois wheelchair track, field and racing coach Adam Bleakney to discuss his athletes' success at the Boston Marathon, Illinois' Paralympics hotbed and his coaching inspirations.
Daniel Romanchuk, who won the Boston Marathon, trains at Disability Resources & Educational Services (DRES)—where Bleakney coaches—and said he could not have won Boston without Bleakney's help and training.
