Applied Practice Experience

Master of Health Administration students participate in an Applied Practice Experience (APE) in the summer, upon successful completion of their first year in the program.  The APE requires 200 hours in a health administration setting and offers students an intensive “on the job” experience.  Upon completion of their APE, students will increase their professional skills, build a stronger résumé and increase their professional network.  This experience will also help them learn more about the career options available to them in the health administration field.

*If you are a health administrator and have interest in hosting an MHA student in the upcoming summer, please complete this form and we will reach out to you with details.
